Never heard of Poznań? You’re considering going to LovemBal, but you have no clue how to get there? We’ve gathered some tips for you here.
- BY TRAIN:
You can easily reach Poznań from all main directions/ cities with main airports in Poland such as Warsaw (Warszawa), Wroclaw, Cracow (Krakow), Katowice or Gdansk. Make sure to check your travel plans on http://rozklad-pkp.pl/en – always check the date of your travel, as the schedule may vary.
- BY BUS:
You can arrive to Poznań by bus from many cities in Poland and abroad. There are busses coming to Poznań from: Amsterdam (NL); Berlin (both from the center: Zentraler Omnibusbahnhof, and from the Airport: Schönefeld); Prague and many other cities. For Berlin and Prague check your route on www.polskibus.com or https://luxexpress.eu/. For other cities try checking out http://www.sindbad.pl/en and http://www.eurolines.pl/en/
The bus station in Poznan is located next to the train station, which is in the city center.
- BY PLANE:
You can fly to Poznań from several locations in Poland and abroad using low-cost flight operators such as www.wizzair.com or www.ryanair.com You can also consider taking a flight to Berlin, as there’s a great variety of low-cost connections, and then changing for bus/train to Poznan. There are bus companies offering direct link from Berlin airports to Poznan with their schdule adjusted to arrivals/departures, eg. Berlin Express https://berlinexpress.pl/info-in-englisch.html (the website is in mainly Polish, but the service speaks English)
If you are using regular flight operators most likely you will be flying through Warsaw and from there you can take another flight directly to Poznan or a train or PolskiBus (see above).
- BY CAR:
You can get to Poznań driving A2 (E30) motorway – a charge is payable for using it (from the west: direction from the border; access from the east direction: from Konin), national routes no. 92, no. 5 (east – west direction) and no. 11 (north – south).
Carppoling is quite popular on the route Berlin-Poznan or Warsaw-Poznan, so if you’re not afraid of a pinch of risk – check the BlaBlaCar offers.
